College Golf Ready Camp

Thinking about college golf? 

At our camps, participants will be able to gain exposure and learn from each other.  They will receive valuable education about the college golf landscape and how to navigate the path to get there. Juniors will be taught how to find an ideal fit for their college golf experience.

Putting, short game, wedge play, iron play, driving 

Delve into course management, expectation management, and on-course attitude 

18-hole tournament on the final day of camp

Even if a player isn't sure if they want to pursue college golf, our camp can still provide them with valuable information and guidance.

John lichtenwalner

Director of Golf, Young Harris College

     After spending the past two and a half years playing professional golf, John is now the Head Coach and Director of Golf at Young Harris College. '

 He played across the Southeast, competing on the Florida Professional Golf Tour, Rolling Red Golf Tour, Moonlight Tour, and many others. He also spent 2021-2023 caddying at Streamsong Resort in Bowling Green, FL, one of the nation’s top destination golf resorts.


      John graduated from Young Harris and played on the golf team from 2017-21. Over John’s four years at Young Harris, the golf team won seven tournaments, including the 2021 Peach Belt Conference Championship. John’s career low collegiate round was 68 (twice) and his top finish T-10 (twice). John was also a strong performer in the classroom, and he received the PBC Elite 15 Award in 2020 and the Luke Rushton ’42 Scholar Athlete Award in 2021.

Director of North Georgia Golf Academy

Chuck has coached 105 students who eventually signed college scholarships to play golf. The list of universities includes Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, University of West Georgia, Air Force, Florida Southern College, Young Harris College, and Augusta State. He has trained over 40 Academic All-Americans and 6 All-Americans.

 Additionally, Chuck has had 15 former students who followed into the profession and became PGA professionals. Having worked in all aspects of the golf industry, Chuck's passion is for teaching and mentoring. He is a three-time U.S. Kids Top 50 Teacher and U.S. Kids Master Teacher. He is also a Callaway Certified Master Club Fitter. 

He received the Georgia Section Junior Golf Leader Award in 2001 and 2013, the 2013 PGA Junior League Captain of the Year, the 2011 and 2013 PGA Junior League National Champions, and the 2015 & 2016 FCG Top 25 Elite Junior Coach.
